After a tasty dinner at Slope and Hatch, we decided to head down the street to Glenwood Canyon Brewing Co. The place was hopping around 8:45 pm when we got there, so we gladly took a seat at the bar. We were immediately greeted and prompted for drinks. Just to our right we could see where all the magic happened they had big open window looking into the brewing tanks.
They also had a really nice patio out front that if it were not so busy we definitely would have asked to be seated there. Lindsie got the Grizzly Creek Raspberry Wheat, this thing was amazing I am not going to lie I wanted to steal it. It was so refreshing but not overly sweet at all, it really had a great balance of flavors and the color was amazing it had this pinkish golden hue. I will be contacting my local beer stores about this one because this just screams perfect beer after being out in the sun all day.
I had the Lookout Milk Stout. It was really smooth and creamy and each sip left you wanting more. We even brought home a growler of their root beer which was also one of the better craft root beers I have had so Anthony could par take in some of this tour of ours.
We had just eaten but the food looked really good as well. Next time we are in Glenwood Springs we might just have to eat and drink here.
Dr Z’s Brew Tip: Get the Grizzly Creek Raspberry Wheat if its warm out!
