Blue Spruce Brewing Company

Right off County Line Road, you can find the Blue Spruce Brewing Company. This little find is visible right from the road. We stopped by for our first visit on a Friday during happy hour for a snack and a beer.
Blue Spruce Brewing Company is loaded with long picnic benches and has a patio section which we chose mostly because it was gorgeous out (seat yourself when we went). The outdoor seating area is dog friendly, which we really enjoy because the bark park that we take our pup Bella to is just a few minutes up the road and Blue Spruce is the perfect stop on the way home.
I (D.J.), as per usual had a Vanilla Porter that I enjoyed, but my wife’s Apricot Blonde took the show for sure. It was bright but not too sweet that I couldn’t help but imagine enjoying on a nice warm Colorado summer eve. Since we arrived just in time for Happy Hour, we tried a few different snacks. I got the green chili cheese fries and Lindsie and Anthony shared a plate of nachos. Both were packed a little heat and some good flavor and during happy hour but the fries were only $3 (such a steal!)
Their brew menu was filled with different choices and they always have rotating taps. We somehow missed on the menu that they had a pecan pie beer called Pecan Pie Brown. If I catch it there again, believe me, I’m sure I will have some more to say about this place!

Dr. Z’s Brew Tip: Definitely make it for Happy Hour for some great deals on beer and food, especially the chili cheese fries
